From Irish Draught horses to working hunter ponies, the equine events have always played an important role in the Lincolnshire Show. Over the years the show jumping competitions, scurry classes and heavy horse turnouts have proved a popular attraction in the Clydesdale Bank Main Ring.

Horse & Pony Entries
Due to the number of exhibitors failing to register their horses/ponies or become members of the respective breed societies in line with class regulations, and the resulting time and cost involved to the LAS in administrating these matters, all entries MUST be registered with the respective breed society/ies, where applicable, by the closing date for entries – 9th April 2014.
The draft catalogued entries have to be submitted to the breed societies for approval at that time and any entries that are not registered or that have been entered in the wrong name will be withdrawn from the catalogue, the respective entry fees forfeited and no tickets issued.
For Horse of the Year Show Qualifiers HOYS ID numbers must be stated on the Entry Form, if your ID is not known please contact the HOYS Equine team on 01582 711411.
Animals will be catalogued under the name of the registered owner. If you are paying the membership rate of entry fees, the rate will only apply to the horses owned by and entered in that name.
The animal name must be that registered with the Breed Society under whose rules the class(es) are being judged.
It is important that you take time to read The Lincolnshire Show Regulations and Information at the back of the Schedule before submitting your entries, particularly point 8 regarding hard hats.
