The 2013 Food and Gift fair will be on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November from 10am to 4pm.
Tickets will be on sale from September.
Entry is £4 in advance and £5 on the gate. Under 16′s are free when accompanied by an adult.
More information about the event will be available from Autumn 2013. Trade applications will be posted to previous exhibitors in August and forms will downloadable from here in September.

About Food and Gift
2012 Food and Gift was the biggest yet, taking over two exhibition Halls and welcoming 1000′s of visitors over the weekend. With an impressive 120 stalls brimming with goodies it was a chance to buy presents for loved ones, stock the larder with meats, cheeses, jams and puddings and mark the start of Christmas in style.
An ideal day for keen cooks, foodies and hungry shoppers, Food and Gift was bursting with samples of delicious sausages, bacon, burgers, pork pies, cheeses, chutney and puddings. A fine crop of local cooks including Amy Claridge, Dominic Franks and Louise from Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop provided inspiration in the demonstration kitchen, conjuring up festive meals using the Lincolnshire ingredients on sale at the show. Crafters also took stands this year, running lessons of forgotten techniques such as knitting, card making, sewing, wreath making and even pottery. Children and adults took time to learn new skills and pick up some thirty Christmas DIY gift ideas.
With the band playing, the enticing smells of sizzling bacon, hog roasts, Lincolnshire Sausages, Chapmans fishcakes. Crepes and the bustling hum of traders selling their wares – it was truly wonderful weekend of atmosphere and cheer.
Sally, Trade Coordinator extraordinaire has worked tirelessly for months curating a fine display of produce, gifts and crafts. Sally’s other half of the year is spent organising all 600 Lincolnshire Show trade stands, so whilst food and gift might seem like light work; she assures us it is just as challenging!
“My favourite part of the weekend is seeing the halls decorated, the traders happy, hearing the band play and seeing the first visitors come through the gates. Then I can breathe a sigh of relief and relax… just a little.”
All in all, it was a lovely, feel good weekend and an absolute pleasure to see the Showground full of life and looking so festive! We can’t wait to do it all again next year… so see you there!
