In recent years, The Countess of Wessex has become involved in the world of agriculture and held the position of Show President of the Royal Bath and West Show in 2010 before becoming Vice Patron in 2011. Her Royal Highness is also Patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO).We’re delighted to announce Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex will be making a visit to this year’s Lincolnshire Show on Thursday 20th June.
Jayne Southall Director of the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society says ‘We are absolutely delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex will be attending the Lincolnshire Show as our guest of honour’. ‘Her presence will be a great privilege for the show and the county of Lincolnshire’

Expect to see livestock and equine competitions, machinery displays, the chance to find out where your food comes from, cooking demonstrations from three local chefs, vintage vehicle displays, floral decoration and flower shows, a sporting showcase, Clydesdale main ring entertainment from Katy Cropper starting at 9am, plenty of retail therapy from 600 trade stands, live music and much, much more!
On the Wednesday of the Show (June 19th), thanks to Show sponsor Clydesdale Bank, we’ll be joined for the morning by England Rugby Player Mike Catt, who’ll be appearing near the state of the art Rugby simulator and the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership’s Sports Zone. In the afternoon the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s Dakota will be providing a flypast over the Showground at a time to be confirmed.
