The Michael Peacock Rising Star Award launches for 2024!

The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society (LAS) are excited to launch a new award, celebrating the youth in our agricultural industry, kindly sponsored by Peacock and Binnington in memory of the late Michael Peacock.

The Rising Talent award aims to celebrate and recognise those who are starting their careers in the Agricultural industry and are already excelling. Nominees will be forward thinking; progressive and passionate individuals working within agriculture or allied organisations and will be actively promoting the industry to the next generation or others. Members of the LAS can now nominate an employee, fellow volunteers or an outstanding friend who are making a difference in the industry or contributing to success.

Graham Main, Managing Director of Peacock and Binnington said: ‘Michael had a real passion for spotting talent, training them and encouraging them the importance of ‘self learning’ so they pushed themselves to develop too. This is a great category and something he would be very much in favour of’.
